Ekornes Sliding Ottoman Locking Pin Set (each part includes 2 locking pins to repair 1 ottoman)

The Ekornes sliding ottoman locking pin set is used to lock the ottoman pad to the wooden base of Stressless recliner foot ottomans. This set includes (2) locking pins (enough for one Stressless recliner ottoman (both left and right sides). The Ekornes part number is 08001341. This in an original OEM part from Ekornes in Norway.

Here's how to assemble the Stressless Chair Ottoman that has the glide function (slides back and forth with your legs).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Older model Stressless chair ottomans that do not have the gliding functionality are not compatible with this part.

I bought one of these for my 5 year old chair, because my previous one had began to break. I thought it was going to be much harder to install, but in reality it took around 5 minutes or so.

The pin set was correct but the holes in the ottoman are slightly off dimension as the unit does not lay flat. The problem was on one side only.

Completely changed my ottoman

The one that came in my chair that a purchased about 6 years back would constantly fall out and I would have to put it back in, with the new one it just stays in place, and never falls out. Thanks Unwind!
