Ekornes Stressless Telescopic Arm Adjustment Wheel (1 wheel)

The spinning roller mechanism is used to control the reclining tension on Ekornes Stressless sofas.

Take a look at the telescopic arm and adjustment wheel illustration below. Notice how the glide rod slides into the telescopic arm and the location of the wheel. This wheel controls the amount of resistance in the Stressless reclining seat. Each telescopic arm has its own glide rod and adjustment wheel. This allows each Stressless sofa seat to operate independently of the others for individualized comfort control.

Finally we can recliner smoothly again!

I bought a stressless sofa around 12 years ago, and the adjustment wheel was starting to break and it wouldn't move smoothly. Ordered this from unwind.com and after a little bit of instruction, was able to replace it. Thank you!
