The frame is steel, this thing will stand up to a nuclear bomb and subsequent zombie apocalypse and still look beautiful. The leather is soft but strong... stood up to Ridley-cat and her claws as I screamed "noooo" but was happy to see no damage. Gorgeous sofa, so comfortable, and the quality you expect from Fjords.
